Parental engagement workshop

16:00–18:00 on 24 June 2019

Parents play a crucial role in supporting their children’s learning, and levels of parental engagement are consistently associated with children’s academic outcomes. However, many are not yet clear on how to effectively engage parents in order to improve outcomes for students.

Sandringham Research School are offering a workshop which will explore the newly published EEF guidance about parental engagement which will:

  • Explore the evidence on parental engagement
  • Explore the recommendations from the EEF
  • Provide delegates with practical strategies to use at school

Aimed at: Teachers, middle leaders and senior leaders in primary and secondary schools.

Led by: Dr Caroline Creaby, Kate Mouncey & Karen Roskilly – Sandringham Research School.

Date & Time: Monday 24th June 2019, 4-6pm.
