Comparative judgement workshop
16:00–18:00 on 26 November 2018
We are delighted to be hosting a workshop about Comparative Judgement, an assessment technique which involves comparing a series of two pieces of work side-by-side. This approach offers an efficient, quicker way to judge and moderate students’ work. It’s more reliable that traditional teacher judgement and is also meaningful as teachers can develop a shared understanding of what good looks like.
The workshop will be hosted by Daisy Christodoulou, Director of Education for No More Marking and former Head of Assessment for Ark. No More Marking is the leading provider of comparative judgement software. In addition, we will be showcasing how the MFL Faculty at Sandringham School have been using No More Marking to assess and moderate written work. This will be presented by David Williams, Director of Learning for MFL.
