Improving Secondary Science

The Sandringham Research School are offering a workshop which will explore the newly published EEF guidance on improving secondary science teaching.

We are pleased to welcome Professor Sir John Holman, author of the report.  The former government STEM director is now Emeritus Professor in Chemistry at the University of York.  His career has included many leading roels in science education with the Wellcome Trust, Gatsby Foundation and National Science Learning Centres.

The workshop will:

  • Explore the evidence on science teaching
  • Explore the recommendations from the EEF
  • Provide delegates with practical strategies to use confidently with students
