Sandringham Research School Launch
4 October 2017
Author: Dr Caroline Creaby, Sandringham Research School Director
On Tuesday 3rd October, the Sandringham Research School welcomed teachers and school leaders from over 40 schools from Hertfordshire and the south east to its launch event. At the event, we discussed the moral imperative of drawing upon research evidence to refine our teaching further to ensure all young people achieve at school. We explored the increasingly rich sources of research evidence that can been applied to our work in schools. Crucially, we explained how the Sandringham Research School will work to support schools to engage with evidence. Through communication, training and support for innovation, there is a wide range of opportunities for schools to take their next step in research use.
